Welcome to our Call to Adventure at the California Fire Museum website.

It is an honor to welcome you to a place where history, education, and public safety come together with purpose. We are dedicated to empowering communities with the knowledge and skills needed to be safe, and to preserve the rich legacy of firefighting.

Our mission is to educate! Our safety learning center provides an opportunity to interact with experiential safety learning designed for individuals and families of all ages. Knowledge starts with information that helps all make better and more informed decisions. From fire prevention and emergency preparedness to life-saving response skills, we are committed to making safety education engaging, accessible, and impactful.

The fire service has always been built on courage, commitment, and service to others. Through our museum exhibits, we proudly display the evolution of firefighting—from the early equipment and techniques to the modern innovations that protect lives today. Each exhibit is a story of bravery and progress, reminding us of the sacrifices made to keep our communities safe.

Awareness and preparation are the strongest tools in preventing emergencies and reducing risk. By working together, we will create a safer world for everyone.
